Disney XD is bringing its hit animated show “Phineas and Ferb” to life in a series of nationwide interactive ‘Chain Reaction’ events taking place in July. Inspired by the adventures of Phineas and Ferb who spend their school holidays constructing their own ingenious ‘Chain Reactions’, kids and families are invited to attend the free events where they can participate in building an impressive human-sized ‘Chain Reaction’ which will be set off to spectacular effect.
Injecting high octane fun into the summer holidays, the Disney XD events will give kids the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their two heroes where they can learn about the scientific hidden secrets that allow the stunt to work. Tasked with this mission, kids will build elements of it incorporating a roller-coaster, a spacecraft, a periscope and robots, all of which will be combined to create the final awe-inspiring construction. The day will culminate in a grand finale when the ‘Chain Reaction’ is set off in a thrilling display where kids can see the results of their work.
The lead up to each of the four events will be marked by special “Phineas and Ferb” competitions where kids will be given the opportunity to win some great Disney XD goodies.
